Lesson Summary

This ESL lesson plan is designed around the short video How to Read When You Hate Reading – 5 Tips and Tricks and the themes of reading, the benefits of reading and how to read more. Students examine why some people find reading difficult and explore practical strategies such as setting small targets, reading before using the internet, connecting reading to an existing habit, listening to audiobooks and developing a positive attitude towards reading.
