Lesson Summary
How can we give unpaid care work the recognition it deserves? This ESL lesson plan invites Upper Intermediate (B2) to Advanced (C1) students to explore caregiving, its contribution to society and the importance of supportive workplaces.
The lesson is based on the short video Caregiving Is Real Work — Let’s Treat It That Way. Through quotations, discussion, video comprehension and a workplace roleplay, students examine care responsibilities and practise explaining caregivers’ needs.
