  • Expand vocabulary related to emotions, control, and mindfulness

  • Develop listening, viewing, and reading comprehension skills

  • Build visual representing skills through a multimodal homework task

  • Talk about uncertainty and how it affects people

  • Discuss quotations related to the unknown and control

  • Predict the content of a short video based on its title

  • Watch the video and complete comprehension and analytical tasks

  • Write about what they’ve learned from the video

  • Participate in a roleplay based on managing uncertainty

  • Read an article titled Eight Simple Techniques to Cope with the Unknown

  • Answer comprehension questions based on the article

  • Engage in group discussions about strategies for coping with the unknown

  • Reflect on the lesson and express their thoughts in writing
