I’m very happy you like the lessons. The recommend retail price of the book is €33, but there’s a 30% discount at Amazon Spain at the moment where you can buy it for €22.89. 5. Another great lesson Kieran – with a lot of scope for extension. I love the way these animated films are language-free as it makes them accessible for almost amy level.

Thanks again for all your wonderful ideas and creativity that you bring to inspire meaningful classroom discussion.

    1. Hi Fiona,

  6. Thank you for this and many other great lessons Kieran.
I’m going to use this tonight with my upper-intermediate class.

As an introduction I’m also going to use this video on what speed-dating is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7IW6PQnZIg

I’m sure my studens will enjoy this lesson as much as they enjoyed the previous ones I took from your website.

    Thanks again!

  8. Really enjoyed using this with my students. Instead of the question writing/discussion, I got my students to write an online dating profile for one of the characters from the film. We brainstormed ideas about what to include and then students worked in pairs to complete the writing task. I had them include gerunds/infinitives as that’s what we’re currently working on in class. My students had a good laugh and came up with some very funny responses. Thanks and keep up the great work!

    1. Hi Claire,
Thanks very much for commenting. I’m delighted you and your students enjoyed the lesson so much.
      All the best,
      Kieran
