A2 ESL Video Lesson Plan: Smart Cities

This ESL lesson plan is designed around a short video titled Smart city: making cities more life enhancing and the theme of smart cities. Students learn vocabulary related to smart cities, urban planning and technology, talk about smart cities, discuss quotations about smart cities, watch a short video, answer comprehension questions, analyse a short video, write about what they have learned from viewing a short video, read an article, answer comprehension questions, develop critical thinking skills by exploring issues raised in a short video and article, perform a roleplay, and reflect on the lesson.
