Cine Inglés is an award-winning, innovative website offering creative, high-quality resources for English language teachers who want to bring the power of film and short video into their classrooms. With over 500 lesson plans y 200 viewing guides—and new resources added monthly—Film English helps students build key language skills across listening, speaking, reading, writing, and vocabulary. But more than that, the materials develop learners’ multimodal literacy, sharpening their ability to view, interpret and visually represent ideas—essential 21st-century skills.

Each lesson is built around a carefully selected video or film and explores cuestiones mundiales, social topicsy inteligencia emocional, encouraging students to engage critically and creatively with meaningful content. Founded by Kieran Donaghy, a leading expert in the use of film and video in English language teaching, Film English is grounded in cutting-edge research in multimodality, alfabetización visualy language pedagogy. Kieran is the author of Cine en acción y Multimodal Literacy in ELT, and is also the founder of The Image Conference and co-founder of the Visual Arts Circle. He trains teachers globally through La Escuela de Formación, both online and in person.
