Teachers from all over the world have been kind enough to give very positive feedback on the innovative and creative use of moving images in Film English. Here are some of the comments.
“Thanks for your generosity. You’ll never know how many lives you have touched. Your work is treasured by my students. Your work has really inspired my students. Me too.”
Chris Bohlander
“Thanks so much for these detailed lesson plans. I really like that your site uses film. There’s something about moving images on a screen that keeps the attention of students much better than I can on my own! Great resource for English teachers, thank you so much.”
Jon Sumner
“Thank you for such a brilliant website. It is the best website that I have found for teaching English – I just love the clear, coherent way that you organise it all, but mostly it’s the content of the lesson ideas that is great. Each one makes you think. Through your website I find that, primarily, I learn things whilst planning my lessons, as each lesson plan makes you want to explore other things. And indeed, learning English can be seen as not just learning a language but learning other things IN English at the same time.”
Ruth Lessells
“You know how to connect with people and feelings through your own choices of film and how you focus on the opportunities that each clip can provide. In this way your work is a rich and meaningful source of inspiration both for myself and people I have had the fortune of working with. Thank you once again for so much positive energy, for caring and sharing things that I believe are important to many of us.”
Fiona James
“I discovered you website not that long ago. And actually I consider it to be the best ever! I wish to thank for your great work as it is an enormous help to me and probably thousands of other teachers. Each lesson is a fantastic support to my lessons. Thanks again. I’m the biggest fan of your work.”
Agnieszka Banasik
“I really admire your work, not only for the excellent ready-made plans you put together for the teacher in a rush, but more importantly, for the modelling and inspiration of what an excellent class can be like.”
Lucy Ankle Anchor
“Listening in to staffroom conversation at my teaching centre gives an indication of how much teachers make use of your lesson ideas. I also use them in teacher training sessions to show what the ingredients of a good lesson plan are.”
Ann Foreman
“Your work is so consistently excellent – fun to use in the classroom and delightful for students of most any age. We can all learn so much from your efforts, and those of us in the profession who know you and have the chance to work with you are all the better off for it.”
John Bezich

Hi Kieran…
I was visiting your website for the first time and it could not have been in a better time for me as an English teacher because I am about to open my own English school (for the second time) in the capital city of the State of Veracruz, in Mexico. Your stuff man is… well directed, easy to apply in diferent formats, for any kind of student really, regardless their age, and it´s a lot of fun!
I would like you to see something I created, I called it GRAMMARAOKEE, you can find some samples of it in Youtube, I think I´m going to do some of those lyrics games with soundtracks of popular films as I am receantly inspired by you.
Thanks for sharing your stuff!

Hi Kieran
I consider it my luck to have come across your website! That’s a wonderful way of getting through to students who are bored easily! But not through this method of yours which combine lots of things which can only lead to the development of various skills especially the critical one which can be considered greatly lacking in our youths of today! Excellent! Innovative! Thanks so much for sharing! God bless!
Hi Tara,

Hello Kieran,
I would like to thank you for the wonderful and creative English teaching resource you provide. I love it!
I often use video and photos during my English sessions and your site is by far the most complete and interesting resource I have found in my 18-year career as an English trainer and teacher in France.
Thank you and be well!
Cheers,
Terry

These are very powerful lessons. If my students get half as much from them as I have, it would still be huge. Thank you.
