Film English has been selected as one of the nine finalists in the 2013 Medea Awards, the most important media education awards in Europe. There were 342 entries from 37 countries and the finalists were chosen by a jury made up of 118 education and media experts from 28 countries.

The aim of the MEDEA Awards is to encourage innovation and good practice in the use of media (audio, video, graphics and animation) in education. The awards also recognise and promote excellence in the production and pedagogical design of media-rich learning resources. The winners will be announced during the Media & Learning Conference (http://media-and-learning.eu/) taking place on 12-13 December 2013 in Brussels.
